First Leg
I had a relaxing day to get organized and packed for my trip to China. I am leaving now for Oakland where I will spend the weekend with my daughter and family before leaving for Beijing on Tuesday!

I will be representing the Van Allen Science Teaching Center in Cedar Rapids, IA,USA as I travel in China. This center supports 1750 teachers in the teaching of exemplary science. Preparation for Trip
I am beginning to get organized for my trip. I ordered a new camera yesterday. Hopefully I can learn to use it before I leave! (:
I received my detailed itinerary last week and we will be visiting schools in Bejing, Guilin, and Shanghai.
